Fullly-funded PhD Project:
The Department of Science at the University of Roma Tre (Italy) is seeking high quality applicants for one fully-funded PhD Research Project starting in January 2014. The PhD Research Project is part of the Marie-Curie Initial Training Network (ITN) ALErT: Anatolian Plateau climate and tectonic hazards.
The title of the PhD project is:
“Late Cenozoic deformation, uplift, and erosion along the southern flank of the Central Anatolian Plateau (CAP): the terrestrial record”.
The project will involve extensive field and laboratory work mainly on the stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, and chemostratigraphy of Plio-Quaternary marine deposits at the southern margin of the CAP.
Applicants for this position must come from outside Italy.
